Tightn or loose Driven

Postby L5 RACING » Mon Feb 04, 2019 10:42 am

Couldn't remember on my driven which way on my driven I can increase or decrease 60ft on my 11.90 car. First time out changing from a L0206 to a Raptor my daughter was complaining of the initial hit was to hard. I either loosen or tighten the driven and it changed. Does anyone know the difference?
Let's go fast and be safe at it. Thanks to Ken Dabney, TintMaster, Mike George, Wayne Thornton and Thornton Motorsports for all there help guiding me into this new sport.

I never saw a difference in the hit when adjusting the driven spring. At least my girls never mentioned it. I only ever saw a change in where the clutch shifted.

Mind you this was never on a raptor motor. Never really played with that until I had the 3x3.

I knew for sure you would have tried it Bill. Is it race season yet. I know NHRA comes on next weekend.
