Why do you think you need to replace the master?

Also, were you aware that these brake systems require DOT 5 fluid and that Dot 5 can not be mixed with 3 or 4?

Probably really don’t need to change the master but it is an old car, I wanted to update the parts. I can keep the new one as spare.

I didn’t order brake fluid yet. I’ll make sure I get the dot 5.

So I got the parts today.

I have 4 fittings, 2 for the caliber and 2 for the master cylinder. But they are way too long. They are #3 straight fittings. They stick out of the master, they don’t bolt up flush.

IIRC I think they are pipe thread fittings so they will not seat flush.

Those look like bulk head fittings.

However, if your asking if the hex should be flush with the master, then no. what you have there is how they fit.

The top ones are the ones that I removed from the master and the caliber.

If they fit there is no reason you can't reuse them.
