jetting a sleeved carb.

Is it possible to run a sleeved 33mm carb on a 7.90 motor to slow it down? would the jetting change?

Honestly, it would be be better to adjust the throttle cable so it wouldn't get full throttle than to choke a good running engine. Small carbs on demanding engines may be really hard to get the jetting right for a smooth transition from pilot to main. In my opinion anyway...

Both of my 8.90 set ups are 7.90 motors with 33 mm to help and slow them down, but no sleeves in them. I thought about trying a sleeve, just haven't gotten that far. A sleeve does choke off the air flow so I would assume you should run less fuel too? That's what testing is all about, right?
