Seat postioning

Postby BHM Racing » Mon Jul 30, 2018 5:58 pm

Maybe this should have been title driver positioning but what can I add or do to get my son more upright in the seat. The 2008 Mike Bos we purchased has a lay down seat and he says he cannot see too well when I tighten the belts. I guess it pulls him down. We added some cushion under the mat and that helped raise him up but he is still rather laying back. Thanks in advance for any replies.

We think memory foam might be the answer to give him some back boost. Couple of wire ties and hopes....

SFI rated kits

Memory foam will allow your child to move the thickness of the foam less the initial crush. Master blaster pads, foam roll bar padding; all those types of cushioning allow movement and can actually accelerate the child’s movement after crush in the opposite directions. None of it is safe.

We actually just bought a new 2018 Mike Bos Jr and have a new seat. He is good to go now.
