Clutch engagement

Postby Nateforsythe » Wed Apr 10, 2019 9:29 pm

We've recently changed our setup a bit, running a lo206 with a Salisbury drive and a jr racecar reverse driven. We were running it on the stand the other day and I noticed the clutches don't seem to move at all until the motor reaches 4200-4300 rpm. I'm not sure what numbers everyone is looking for, but that seemed a little higher to me. Any opinions are appreciated. I haven't touched the Salisbury since we got it so not sure what springs are In it, and the driven has the purple spring. While I'm at it if anyone is familiar with that driven, what hole should the spring ride in? Thanks for the help in advance. Can't wait to see this thing on the track!
