      Here are some specs that I’ve collected as I put a few ZR3 motor together.
      .008 – .010 crank end play
      .006 – .009 valve lash
      Timing .400 – .650

      Ring gap is .004 -.0045 per inch bore

      Head studs 150inch pounds
      Rod bolts (arp) 150 inch pounds

      Use a lite coat of Toyota sealer/silicone on the head gasket (JR race car sells it)

      What are some other tips or specs you guys use?

      I’m working to build an engine building worksheet to keep all your specs and notes for each build. I’ll share it once it’s finished.
