Looking into adding an EVAC setup but cant really find any information about it.
Is it needed? currently have a pure power 3 1/4. They sell a dual setup while everyone else sells single. Do I need to use more oil with an EVAC? what about if double?
Did have an issue with the puke tank (it was full) last year but also never drained it before the issue. so maybe just keep the puke tank but remember the drain it when I change the oil.
It’s not needed but definitely has its advantages. With the puke tank the oil is gone and is a pain in the butt to accurately measure how much you’re losing throughout the race or a night.
With an oil Evac system, you don’t lose any oil throughout tonight, whatever it pukes out it puts right back in and is a hell of a lot easier to change the oil
No, we do not use any more or less oil using an evac and we use a single line on both 3.25 and 3.50

Well we did end up going with an EVAC setup and you are correct, super easy oil changes now. drain from bottom, remove filter and add to top. So easy even a child can do it. granted she changed the oil before but she even said it was easier.
